We Believe...

1. The Scriptures Inspired

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We also believe that it is the infallible rule of faith and conduct for all believers (II Tim. 3:15,16; I Pet. 2:2).

2. The Trinity

We believe the one true God has revealed Himself as the Father and the Son, and the Holy Ghost (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19).

3. The Deity of Christ

We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Isa. 9:6; John 1:1,14; John 20:28; Col.2:9).

4. The Deity of the Holy Ghost

We believe in the Deity of the Holy Ghost who proceeds from the Father and the Son, and that He is the Convincer of sin, indwelling Comforter and Guide into all truth (Matt. 28:19; John 14:16,17; Acts:5:3,4; 2 Cor. 13:14).

5. The Necessity of Salvation Through Jesus Christ

We believe that all men have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that man’s only hope of salvation is in the Person and Work of Jesus Christ (Rom. 3:23; John 14:6; Acts 4:12).

6. Salvation By Grace Through Faith

We believe that salvation is by the grace of God and not by works of righteousness. We believe that repentance toward God and faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ is necessary for forgiveness of sins (Eph. 2:8-10; Titus 3:5-7).

7. The New Birth

We believe in the New Birth which is the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost. We believe that the inward evidence of the born again experience is the witness of the Spirit and that the outward evidence is a life of righteousness and true holiness (Titus 3:5-7; Rom. 8:16; Eph. 4:24).

8. Water Baptism

We believe the ordinance of baptism by burial with Christ should be observed as commanded in the Scriptures by all who have repented and believed on Christ as Savior and Lord. In so doing they declare to the world that they have died with Jesus and that they have also been raised with Him to walk in newness of life (Matt 28:19; Rom. 6:3-4).

9. The Lord’s Supper

We believe the Lord's Supper is the symbolic expression of our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe it is a memorial to His death and a prophecy of His coming. We believe the Lord’s Supper is enjoined on all believers "until He comes" (1 Cor. 11:23-26).

10. The Baptism in the Spirit

We believe that all believers are entitled to and should earnestly seek the promise of the Father which is the Baptism in the Holy Ghost. With it comes power for life and service. This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8; 2:4).

11. Speaking in Tongues

We believe that speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance is the initial evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-48).

12. Sanctification

Because we believe that the Scriptures teach that holiness is God’s standard for man, we believe that entire sanctification is the will of God and should be earnestly pursued by all believers. We believe sanctification comes through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost (Heb 12:14; 1 Thess. 4:3-8; 5:23,24; 1 Pet. 1:15,16).

13. The Great Commission

We believe it is the responsibility of every believer to dedicate his life to carrying out the work of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20; Acts 1:8).

14. The Church

We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ and the Temple of the Holy Ghost. We believe that the Church is made up of all who are born again. We believe that those who are born again faithfully assemble themselves together (Eph. 1:22,23; 2:22; Heb. 12:23).

15. Healing

We believe that healing is provided for in the atonement (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:14-18; James 5:14-16; Exodus 15:26).

16. The Rapture of the Church

We believe the blessed hope of the Church is the resurrection of the dead in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain at the coming of the Lord (1 Thess 4:13-17).

17. The Second Coming of Christ

We believe in the second coming of the Lord Jesus from Heaven to the earth, in the salvation of national Israel, and the millennial reign of Christ (Rev. 19:11-21).

19. Hell

We believe that the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, and whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life shall be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death (Mat. 8:12; Mat. 18:41, 22:13; Luke 13:28; 2 Pet. 2:17; Jude 13; 42; Rev. 19:20; 20:10-15).

20. Heaven

We believe that Christ is preparing a New Jerusalem for all people, of all time, who have accepted Him and that we will live and dwell with Him there forever following His millennial reign on earth (Rev. 21-22).
